Sukuu Report is a Ghanaian answer to a Ghanaian problem: terminal reports written out by hand, copied onto a broadsheet, copied again onto a card, and signed by a head teacher who has no practical way to check any of it.
Why we built it
The problem was never the marking. It was everything after it.
Written out three times
A mark starts in the teacher's record book, gets copied onto a class broadsheet, then copied again onto forty separate cards. Every copy is a fresh chance to put the wrong number against a child's name.
Signed without being checked
Four hundred students across nine subjects is three and a half thousand marks. A head teacher signs the bottom of every card, and everyone quietly accepts that nobody has read them all.
One copy, and it's paper
The card goes home in a schoolbag. It gets rained on, misplaced, or asked for two years later by a secondary school. The school's own copy is a book in a cupboard.
How we think about it
Four decisions everything else follows from.
Nothing reaches a parent unapproved
Teachers enter marks and send them up. The head teacher reads them, approves or sends them back with a note, and only then does anything become visible. The audit is a step, not a formality.
Every mark carries a name
Who entered it, who changed it, who approved it, when. When a parent disputes a grade — and one will — the answer already exists and nobody has to remember.
Your school's card, not ours
A nursery record and a JHS terminal report are different documents, and a Cambridge school does not rank its class. Nine templates across GES, Cambridge and Montessori, and any school may use any of them.
A slip of paper is enough
A parent types an index number and sees their child's results. No account, no password, no app to install. The people who most need to see a report card are the least likely to have any of those.

Sukuu Report is not trying to be a school management system. It does one thing — the terminal report, from the teacher’s mark to the parent’s hand — and tries to do that part properly. Everything in it exists because a Ghanaian school needed it, not because it looked good on a feature list.
If your school does something differently, tell us. The templates, the grading scale and the class/exam split are all yours to change precisely because no two schools here run the same way.
